    Exceptional

    Amazing view - better than in advertised photos, Super clean, had a lift despite being an old building, very friendly managing staff, had everything you might need for the kitchen including a mocha and ground beans!

    None of these are a big deal but would be great to have: full size mirror, a bin for the kitchen, an indoor clothes drying rack, more dishwasher tablets!

    Outstanding property - snap it up ASAP if you're visiting Genoa!

    This property is simply exceptional. The facilities are all brand spanking new and up to a very high spec. It contains all the amenities (washing machine, over, hob/stove, great water pressure in shower, A/C with heating and cooling, TV and fold out sofa). But perhaps the best features of this property are the location (bang in the middle of historic district) and the amazing views from the windows (which open up fully!). The street below has the best restaurants (try the one right underneath – best meal of the stay, focaccia place on the same street is the best IMO, and the cafe opposite the front door run by two old rockers - super cute) and you can walk to all the historic sites within 5-10 mins. The metro is also right at the bottom of the street (3 mins walk). Mattia from the property management company was also an outstanding host. He was in WhatsApp contact with me before the stay with the details of when/where to meet. He met me at the door and showed me around the flat. There was a small issue with a window not opening and he took care of this in less than 12 hours. He also managed to negotiate with the owner for an extra 1 hour late check out as out flight wasn’t until late afternoon.

    Can get a bit loud as it's in the commercial district, but the sound proof windows shut out all the noise! There's a lift to get to the flat on the 5th floor, but you'll need to carry your suitcases up to the lift, so to note in case of mobility problems/disability.
