Amazing cottage in the lakes, friendly staff, great fron room and kitchen if you are staying in, walking distance to the

Amazing location, short walk to the Sun Inn, great for getting to anywhere in the lakes. Living room is amazing and the kitchen is well appointed with all you need if you need to stay in to eat.

It was nice having a bath but a shower would not go a miss.

Location, access to walks, cottage was quirky, clean and had everything you needed for our stay. Quiet location but in very good position to visit the surrounding Lakes and towns.

I didn't receive the email containing the pin code for the key safe. Therefore, upon arrival, we couldn't access the property and the Herdwick office was not answering the phone. Thankfully, the neighbour, upon seeing my booking email allowed access. Otherwise, we would've been sleeping in the car. This is not a reflection of the property, but the booking process.
