A little gem of a hotel in central Yerevan
This is a little gem of a hotel, located in a quiet street in central Yerevan, and only a short walk to Republic Square and the main tourist highlights. Don't be deterred by the unprepossessing access along a back street. Vehicular access is restricted by a bar gate and consequently, the hotel felt safe and private. There are only 8 bedrooms and, given that the hotel has a 3 star rating, I was pleasantly surprised to find an iron, hairdryer, kettle, safe, television, bathrobe and slippers in my large en-suite room. In fact, the room was immaculately clean and extremely well appointed, with a comfortable mattress and good quality pillows. The management spoke perfect English and could not do enough to assist my party with their sightseeing plans. There is no lift to the second floor, but help was provided with luggage. There is a pleasant courtyard, accessed by a security gate, with tables and comfortable chairs, perfect for a morning coffee, which is available gratis on-site. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there are a number of eateries on the doorstep, as well as a mini-mart with a currency exchange. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Daniel Boutique Hotel again on my next visit to Yerevan. Top tip: do pay extra for a room with external windows. The budget room(s) have windows looking onto an interior corridor, which doesn't have a view.
The en-suite bathroom was compact, but towels were changed every day.

The hotel is located not far from main attractions. The room itself is spacious, clean and has everything needed for short stay

What a warm and heartfelt stay in the very center of Yerevan. Daniel Boutique Hotel is located in an older residential building and is a simple, humble family-run place — but that is exactly part of its charm. From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the owners made me feel almost as if I were visiting my grandmother’s home rather than staying at a hotel. They were incredibly kind and welcoming, and especially sweet with our 6-month-old baby, which meant so much to us. We only stayed for one night after returning from Dilijan before flying out of Yerevan, but it turned out to be the perfect ending to our beautiful trip around Armenia. It may not be a luxurious hotel, but it has something much more memorable: genuine warmth, hospitality, and heart. If we ever come back to Yerevan, I honestly don’t think I would want to stay anywhere else.
Nothing :)
