    Exceptional homely stay.

    The host Mita and her husband Kadek were very friendly and very helpful. We used Kadek's driving services to see Ubud. He is very patient and explained to us very well the Balinese tradition and culture. Mita's hospitality is exceptional. She takes care of personalized requests. We would certainly love to come back and recommend them to anyone who wants to experience a warm and homely stay.

    The best place in Ubud

    A fabulous place to stay in Ubud! The rooms were clean, light and well laid out, and the outdoor space so pretty and relaxing. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious, the best nasi goreng of the trip. The location was peaceful but just a short walk into town and there are several warungs nearby. But what makes Danu House really stand out is the kindness of the hosts. My elderly Mum had an accident early in our stay and fractured her ankle and Mita and Kadek and their lovely family took the best care of us - staying with us at the hospital, bringing us meals, making up a room for Mum downstairs, driving us everywhere...I can't even describe the lengths they have gone to to help us enjoy the rest of our trip. If you are looking for a lovely place to stay in Ubud, where you can meet a wonderful Balinese family and see a slice of Balinese life, you can't go past Danu House. We will be forever grateful to Mita and Kadek and will definitely be visiting them again.
