    Pleasant place but breakfast disappointing

    It's a little tricky to find Dar Syraya as it's set back, high up from the street and our taxi driver obviously couldn't see it and dropped us off in the wrong place. If you look for the Hotel Madrid on the main street, Dar Syraya is on the other side of the street but up a steep slope. Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view out over the surrounding hills. The bathroom was very small but functional and the shower pressure was good! The room had a TV, kettle and tea & coffee. The staff were very pleasant and friendly and overall I would say it's good value for the price.

    They don't have breakfast facilities here so you're taken to a local cafe down the hill for your breakfast. The cafe was outside on a fairly busy street complete with roaming cats, bins, cars manoeuvring and of course, being outside, many flies. We would have preferred to have our breakfast at an inside location away from the flies etc.
