A gorgeous place to stay, unwind and take in the scenery. Spoil yourselves — you won’t regret it!
Absolutely beautiful — the perfect Skye escape Dark Skye Cottage exceeded our expectations. This exquisite luxury cottage is nestled in the remote and peaceful area of Milovaig on the northwest coast of Skye, with incredible views towards the Outer Hebrides. Although wonderfully secluded, it’s an easy drive to many of Skye’s main attractions. We actually recommend adding an extra day just to enjoy the cottage itself. We were lucky enough to experience some wild Skye weather, so we lit the fire, relaxed with a book, enjoyed a lovely bath and watched the storm roll across the landscape from the comfort of the cottage. It was bliss! The following day brought sunshine, and we headed out to explore the Fairy Glen, Quiraing, The Storr and Portree. Skye is breathtakingly beautiful, and Dark Skye Cottage is truly the icing on the cake. Paul and Sally were very attentive hosts. A gorgeous place to stay, unwind and take in the scenery. Spoil yourselves — you won’t regret it!
