    The resort itself was very unique

    Our room was very damp and had a mildew smell. Our sheets also were stained on check in and we had to ask for them to be changed.

    We hope to make it back to Dawn Ranch someday as we had just a lovely stay.

    Fantastic location, beautiful setting amongst the redwood trees, accessible to the river, walkable to town and next door to the Safeway market. The resort had complimentary bicycles and kayaks and tubes, along with a nice jacuzzi and pool. The room was very comfortable although a bit small, but the bed was great, and there were lots of spaces for putting our things. The staff was very welcoming and responsive. We totally enjoyed celebrating our anniversary there. It made for a beautiful memory.

    It would have been nice to have more food options at the resort and in town. Many places were closed on the Monday and Tuesday that we were there.
