De zorgzame belangstelling van de host en het goede en uitgebreide ontbijt.
Als er iets een beetje tegen is gevallen dan was dat de ligging aan de hoofdstraat. Je merkt er niets van als de ramen dicht zijn, maar wel als ze open zijn.

Exclusief verblijf waar de meeste 5* hotels bij verbleken.
Een hartelijk adellijk onthaal door Roelina en Beerend. Een ontbijt in een separate eetkamer, geeft je een indruk en gevoel hoe de adel vroeger ontbeten. Uiterst indrukwekkend herenhuis met een rijke historie waar de gastheer je maar al te graag over verteld. Wat op mij indruk maakte is het oog voor het detail, zowel de inrichting, als het fries koekje dat je vind in het schaaltje in de woonkamer, de kleine attentie welke in de koelkast staat te wachten als ook het ontbijt servies welke meer als 100 jaar oud is. Je krijgt het gevoel, dat je de belangrijkste persoon in het huis bent. En dat is ook de intentie van de gast-heer/vrouw. Ook de suite is prachtig met uitstekende kwaliteit materialen en heel goede matras, en waar je ook lekker de avond in de (prive) woonkamer kunt relaxen.
Ik kan niks bedenken.
