Exceptional hospitality, wonderful breakfasts and beautiful views
I stayed at Il Casale del Mirto for six nights in September, and it was one of the highlights of my three-week trip to Italy. The property is in a beautiful, peaceful location surrounded by greenery, with wonderful views of Mount Vesuvius. I especially enjoyed relaxing on the terrace after breakfast. My room was modern, clean and comfortable, with a lovely balcony and a large, comfortable bed. Housekeeping was regular and everything was well maintained. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic! Every morning, I enjoyed a generous selection of delicious pastries, cakes, juices, tea, coffee and water. Everything was beautifully presented, and the portions were incredibly generous. I especially appreciated the relaxed atmosphere: even when I arrived towards the end of breakfast service, I never felt rushed, and the staff were always happy to offer additional drinks. Having a restaurant and pizzeria on the property was another huge advantage. I enjoyed several dinners there, including pizza, pasta and panuozzo. Parking my scooter near the restaurant was also very convenient. But what truly made this place special was the hospitality. Eleonora and the entire team were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful. On my departure day, severe rain and transport disruptions prevented my pre-arranged transfer to Naples from reaching me. The staff kindly drove me to Seiano railway station free of charge, allowing me to continue my journey. I was incredibly grateful for their help! Considering the price, excellent breakfast, beautiful surroundings and outstanding hospitality, this was wonderful value for money. Thank you, Eleonora and everyone at Il Casale del Mirto, for such a memorable stay! I would happily return!
The biggest disappointment was the Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, it was extremely unreliable throughout my six-night stay. Sometimes the signal appeared strong, especially in the restaurant area, but the internet connection was either very slow or simply didn't work. I mentioned the issue to Eleonora, who kindly said they would look into it, but unfortunately there was no noticeable improvement. As a result, I had to rely almost entirely on my mobile data connection, even when using my laptop. This is definitely something worth improving, particularly for guests who need reliable internet access. Another important consideration is the location. While the peaceful hillside setting is one of the property's greatest advantages, getting around without your own transport can be quite challenging. The roads are steep and winding, and although there is a bus stop nearby, public transport is not always convenient. I would strongly recommend having a car or scooter, or arranging transport in advance, especially if you plan to explore Sorrento, Positano and the Amalfi Coast regularly. Soundproofing between the rooms could also be better, as I could sometimes hear guests in the neighbouring room quite clearly. One practical issue: the outer gate was sometimes locked late at night, and I initially struggled to open it. The key needed to be lifted slightly and turned only a few degrees; the weight of the keyring may have made this harder. A quick demonstration at check-in would be helpful. One very minor inconvenience was the toilet paper holder, which was awkwardly positioned and didn't hold the roll properly. Despite these issues, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend Il Casale del Mirto to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with excellent hospitality and beautiful views.

Posto bellissimo di pace, una vista spettacolare e staff gentilissimo e disponibile anche per colazione per celiaci.
Purtroppo solo possibilità di raggiungerlo in auto e con strada stretta. Ma vale per tutte le strutture in loco!
