    never again!!!! cockroach in accomodation/Kakerlake in der Unterkunft

    Good area of Istanbul

    Booked via booking.com we rented the apartment at DeCamondo Residence for 6 nights. The appartment was big but unfortunately the floor wasn´t clean. The bathroom floor was also not clean (hair). There was hair und dust as well as a piece of glass on the floor in the living room area. One of the towels had several dark stains (see photo). The bed sheets were ripped. There was nowhere to hang the towels in the bathroom. The sofas had not been cleaned and the chairs had cushions with stains. Several smoke detectors on the bedroom ceiling had constantly flashing lights. On our last night we were greeted by a huge cockroach sitting in our bed. When we contacted the person in charge (Barkin Bey) we then received a message saying that we would get a "legendary reduction" next time that we come to Istanbul and a dinner with red wine. We declined. No way we are going back there every again! We can not recommend this place at all.
