Heerlijk!
Super mooi appartement in het centrum van Tirana! Het was erg prettig om de auto kwijt te kunnen in de privé garage, waarover je vooraf een goede uitleg krijgt. Het appartement voelde als een hotel, super luxe.

What an apartment and what a city, a must to see!!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this new Central apartment. Beautifully laid out and spotlessly clean. Bed so comfortable, with crisp cotton sheets. Fridge, microwave, hob and cooking utensils if you wish to dine in. But, with all the restaurants and bars on your doorstep, eating out is delicious and affordable. Just a few minutes walk into the main square. Prepare to be amazed! Historic buildings with a backing of new high rise, but nothing like you'd expect, with modern quirky designs. So many attractions to see, but what I would recommend is the opentop sightseeing bus. It has 8 stops and a running commentary of the sights and history. It takes you as far as the cablecar and Bunkart 1, then back to the square. We had a 24 hour ticket, but with so much to see, a 48 hour ticket would be worthwhile. (Allow yourself a day for the cablecar (cash only) and Bunkart 1) . The cablecar takes you to the top of the mountain, offering panoramic views of Tirana. We visited the restaurant, and enjoyed these views whilst eating a delicious meal. We were surprised how affordable the prices were, and not increased because of venue. Bunkart1 a very moving experience in a huge nuclear bunker. A lot of walking and stairs. Would not recommend for children or those who are claustrophobic. So much to see and do in Tirana, we will be back to further explore this amazing city!
Would advise not to hire a car!! (Although the apartment has a parking garage, a must, as parking places are snapped up). Was amazed at the amount of cars, all jostling and beeping. The drivers are very aware and courteous at pedestrian crossings though!
