    Lovely period property but with a few flaws.

    It’s a period property with a lot of original features.

    The company that manages the property is not very cooperative. They have a strict No cancellation policy regardless of how long before you wish to cancel, they charge a £300 deposit prior to stay etc. The location is very secluded. If you’re not coming by car - don’t bother. The house is published for 7 guests, and indeed it has 4 bedrooms but only one bathroom (inc. toilet) and another separate toilet downstairs. Make up your own mind if it is fit for 7 adults.

    Perfect holiday home

    Beautiful historic building, well equipped

    The hot water in the bath/shower was temperamental, the shower screen wasn’t mobile so hot soaked trying to put the shower on

    Beautiful house in a wonderful setting

    It was an amazing property, with a lot do the original detail which was absolutely stunning!

    There was nothing not to like, but it would be helpful to have some check out instructions as I was a little unsure how to leave the beds/ rubbish etc.
