Spotlessly clean, private and comfortable annexe, welcoming host and convenient location for exploring Durham and the surrounds. We enjoyed walking along the riverside footpath to and from the city which only took 20-30 minutes.

We spent a lovely Christmas here, enjoying pub in the village & Christmas services in the Cathedral.
Excellent location for walking/cycling into Durham along the river. Also some lovely walks around Shincliffe through woodland and fields from the leaflet Simon had thoughtfully provided in the property.
Some hooks for towels would have been useful in the downstairs shower room.
