We loved the private location, the view from the patio window believing we spotted deer in the vast field & there was an ease to access & to depart with polite wave from the owner/manager.
The WiFi instruction leaflet inside the doorway gave the wrong details, Nescafé coffee sachets did not clearly distinguish its contents of either coffee or hot chocolate & a previous resident’s underpants & socks were discovered in a wardrobe drawer.

Ideal.
Clean, spacious, tidy, lovely area, views and building. Hosts were so welcoming and friendly and even offered to drive us to and from the local pub if needed. Would love to stay again.

A delightful spot - far from the madding crowd, you might say - but easy to find. Patrick and Patricia are excellent hosts. Towels, milk, biscuits, crisps, tea and coffee were replenished every day, which we weren’t expecting! Comfy bed and very clean room with amazing views. We were sorry to leave and hope we can stay at Dene House Farm again.
