I couldn't unfortunately even check-in properly, because the host behaved so abnormaly.
Worst host I encountered on booking.com who had no empathy for a tourist travelling alone. The host seemed to not be aware of my check-in time (6pm) which I opted when booking: they messaged me later, I confirmed, and it seemed fine. I Whatsapp'd her, found out I had to pay cash (which was not mentioned before), and went from place to place (in the night and rain while being sick) trying to withdraw money. I think she was impatient (the withdrawal of cash took around 30 mins) and got short tempered (managed to screenshot the whatsapp chat). She told me to find another place which accepted credit cards. When I updated her that I finally got the cash, she rudely told me she can not accompdate me because there was no water (as an excuse). The police (which is 5 mins walk away) were shocked, but could not interfere since this was not a crime. The police drove me around in the dark to find another accomodation where I ended up paying three times more. The hotel I ended up staying couldn't believe this and felt sorry for me. I think the host has some personality issues and booking.com should take these type of erratic behaviour seriously, for the safety of customers. Maybe you'll meet her on a good day and it'll work out for you :) Thank you and take care of yourself!
