Auch ohne Bergretter eine Reise wert
Das Hotel hat eine super Lage, welche aber für bestimmte Personen auch eine Herausforderung ist; liegt ziemlich oben im Ort. Optimal ist die Ausreichung der Sommercard, um Lifte kostenlos nutzen zu können. Wunderschön ist der Bioteich zum Baden mit Blick auf das Dachsteingebirge. Weiter Spa-Angebote aus Zeitnot nicht genutzt.

Overall an excellent choice, we enjoyed our stay very much.
Very comfortable room with a nice bathroom. The location is excellent, great views and hikes right from the hotel. Free parking (there’s a large parking lot). Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection. The card with free/discounted cable car and bus rides was very useful.
For a 4 star hotel and it could do with a bit more refinement- mainly the restaurant. The pastry at breakfast was stale. Dinner was quite disappointing (the service was excellent though). This is our first time in Schladming, maybe it’s unfair to compare to our favorite place in Val Gardena.
