The apartment was in a good location, and the place was generally clean and comfortable.
I would like to mention two issues regarding our stay. 1. Heating: When we arrived at the apartment, it was very cold, even though we stayed in September. We needed heating, but the owner told us that heating could only be turned on from the middle of October, saying: "The heating starts in Latvia in the middle of October." However, our friends were staying in the apartment next door, and they had heating available. This was very disappointing and uncomfortable for us. 2. Luggage storage: The owner asked us if we wanted to extend our stay. Unfortunately, we couldn't because we already had our flight booked. We then asked if we could leave our luggage somewhere after checkout. The owner said we could leave it for two hours for free, but after that, we would have to pay €30. What I don't understand is that she offered us the possibility of extending our stay, but when we asked about leaving our luggage, there was a €30 charge after just two hours. Additionally, our friends who stayed in the apartment next door were allowed to stay in their apartment for free after checkout until it was time to go to the airport. They didn't have to pay anything extra. I have never experienced a situation like this before. Overall, these issues made our stay unpleasant, and I am disappointed with how the situation was handled.

The apartment was wonderful — very comfortable, spacious and full of light thanks to the large windows. The location is perfect: very close to the main pedestrian street, yet quiet because the apartment is not directly on it. Communication with the host was excellent. She was very responsive, answered all our questions, quickly resolved any issues, and was very flexible with our check-in/check-out arrangements. The apartment has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Everything was easy, pleasant and well organised. Absolutely nothing to complain about — we had a great stay!
