  Da sogno

  Abbiamo passato qui una parte del nostro viaggio di nozze e ne siamo rimasti entusiasti. La struttura è in un paradiso di boschi, vigneti e dolci colline con vista sul lago, la stanza arredata con stile rustico ma molto fine ed elegante. Abbiamo anche mangiato diverse sere al ristorante e apprezzato tutto, dalla fantastica millefoglie di patate al dolce cremoso al cioccolato bianco. Per non parlare del ricco e squisito buffet della prima colazione (ottimo lo yogurt, la frutta di stagione, il pane casereccio, le uova e bacon e i biscotti e le torte fatti in casa), del vino e dell'olio di cui abbiamo comprato alcune bottiglie da regalare alle nostre famiglie... Personale gentile, attento e al tempo stesso amichevole e cordiale. Speriamo di poter tornare presto!

  Extremely disappointed. We left early, forgoing 3 nights of paid accommodation.

  We had an extremely disappointing stay at Di Colle in Colle, so much so that we left after only 2 nights of the 5 night stay that we booked. However, the view is gorgeous, the grounds are well-maintained and the accommodation is clean.

  We appreciate that the property meets the needs of some people; however it didn’t meet ours. 1. The access is via a very steep, narrow gravel road (at least a kilometer). If another car is approaching in the opposite direction, one car will need to reverse. We did not feel comfortable doing this in the dark, which meant eating dinner at the accommodation. Not in itself a deal-breaker. But a deal- breaker if one doesn’t like the restaurant. 2. We found the restaurant to be extremely overpriced. For example, we ordered a main course of fish and were served portions approximately 10x4cm with no sides at all. These cost €30 each. Also the menu does not cater well for this who do not eat meat. After 2 dinners there we had exhausted the menu, which only changes monthly. We had difficulty facing the prospect of another meal there. Dinners are served outside, in a small area leading down to the pool. The front tables have a gorgeous view (and the view is a fabulous feature of the property, for sure). However, a heads up (which we weren’t given): the tables with a view need to be booked in advance, and well in advance before other guests nab them. Otherwise you’ll be seating at the back of the outside area, with an atmosphere no different from that of an enclosed coffee-shop. 3. The pool is really what the property is all about. If the main desire of one’s stay is to lie around the pool, then the property might suit. However, although we like to have the odd dip to cool down, we wanted to use the property primarily as a base to explore the area. And so a mismatch of our needs and what the property has to offer. 4. The property adheres to the Italian law of internal cooling temperatures not going below 25 degrees. Obviously this is great for energy saving and the environment, and well done to the property for adhering to this when so many properties are not.

  Beautiful setting and facilities. Welcoming and gracious host and staff. On site breakfast and dinner.

  Our bed was uncomfortable. The road in was rough and a little difficult for us to find with my phone map. The host was readily available to show us how to get to location.

  Info over bereikbaarheid. Toiletfunctie. Zeer weinig comfort in kamer. Restaurant slecht. Niet attent personeel.

  Absolutely wonderful, spend a few nights!

  An amazing position , high in the hills, that offers a spectacular view of the Lake. To have a dining terrace, a balcony and a pool view so nice was amazing. The pool is lovely, we enjoyed that one could order to the pool, breakfast was relaxed, healthy and offered a great display of local products and a good coffee! The service was special, thanks to Guido and his team, Milena and Ashlyn were so friendly and proffessional, we enjoyed every minute. We enjoyed a cycle around the lake on local ebikes for a dya, most enjoyable, and a walk into the hills behind where there is one cafe restaurant, check it is open!

  The road up is well documented, but ok even in our low slung rental car.
