    It was very clean when we arrived. We got given clear directions and check-in instructions although it took a while for someone to answer the phone probably because we got there at 7pm. All the facilities included in the description are available. The property is very close to town (19 minute walk). We had a lovely stay and the staff were very nice.

    Upon arrival it took three attempts for a member of staff to answer the phone to get check-in instructions which made us worry that we wouldn’t be able to get in. For some reason I couldn’t provide them with our arrival time to receive check-in instructions via email because according to booking.com I didn’t have any bookings (maybe it was an issue concerning the app). There were no spaces to park my car in front of the property, so I would recommend arriving quite early to secure a space.

    The telephone staff were so rude to an old couple who were having trouble getting in to the place..it was unbelievable..rude..this place is just after your money..Parking..omg 10 quid per night to park on the road..3 nights 30 quid..sorry but viking lodge charged 10 for 3 nights..the place was grotty..shower needs a health and heigien probe..won't be going back...
