OK, for a one night stay. This beautiful old hotel is in need of some restoration.
Convenient drive from the Digby Ferry Dock. Staff were friendly & helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet was great!
The only elevator was out of service. Climbing stairs to third floor with luggage was difficult ( we are older). The bellhops were trying to be helpful but many arrivals from a tour bus made it difficult for them to to keep up . Dinner at Churchill's was disappointing. Expected more from seafood preparation. Scallops were very small, not like the online photos.

Hotel mit Geschichte im alten Glanz
Das Golf Hotel profitiert vom Fakt, dass es in der Gegend keine anderen Hotels gibt. Benötigt dringend eine Renovation von Aussen und Innen. Eine interessierte Hand die dem schönen historischen Haus etwas zum Glanz verhilft wäre dringend nötig. Der wundervolle Saal könnte man unglaublich in Scene setzen.. Die Zimmer sind gross, unbedingt mit Meersicht buchen. Die Fenster sind historisch und wurden mit Silikon versiegelt- easy renoviert, damit kein Wasser eindringen kann.. Frischluft nur via Aircon-schade. Dee Pool super. Der Lift ist out of ordee- für die vielen Gehbehinderten Gäste unzumutbar die steilen Stufen zu gehen! Schade und sehr traurig für dieses Haus

Waren entsetzt über den Zustand des Hotels!
Sehr freundliches Personal, schöner Blick, gute Parkmöglichkeiten, schöner Hoteleigener kleiner Wanderpfad. Das Essen ist prima!
Sehr in die Jahre gekommen, sehr renovierungsbedürftig, Aufzüge gingen ALLE nicht. Bad ist sehr heruntergekommen, Schrank riecht “muffig”, außen Fassade und Fenster sind in extrem schlechten Zustand (Markisen am Restaurant nur noch teilweise vorhanden, Scheiben teils “blind”). Teppiche auf der Treppe zum Zimmer verschlossen und löchrig. Würden nicht mehr kommen, so lange nicht umfangreich renoviert ist.
