  Great stay close to Monopoli! Very clean place and very comfortable beds!

  Very clean place close to Monopoli. The property is beautiful with lots of fruit trees. We wanted to experience staying at a trullo, which was close, but did not get to stay at the trullo itself - our room was adjacent/connected to the trullo, but not the trullo itself. Mario showed it to us and it was very cute and very well done in terms of renovations. Just seeing it was close enough for us... Dora and Mario are great hosts. We came when it was dark and too tired to go out for a bite, Dora brought us bruschettas, prosciutto and bread... that was very nice of them. Good choice of coffee and teas for breakfast, but quite limited on food. The hosts are just next door for any advice on sightseeing. They would check on us to see if we need anything and if we were comfortable. We had a great time there. Very quiet to sleep and the beds were very comfortable! We probably had the best sleep there in our entire stay in Puglia.

  Not really negatives, but good to know and keep in mind... Breakfast was mainly packaged foods and most were sweets. Also, kitchen is shared by 3 rooms/units and can be a bit awkward to use it when other guests are around. Our next door guests were rushing to check out one morning when we were making coffee and we could see they were inpatient, which is understandable, but we did not know they were leaving. We felt bad after. One other thing to keep in mind - the last few km. of the road there are quite windy and up the hill - driving for the first time in the dark can be a bit stressful... Some places to eat are close, but not walkable, best to drive, as the roads there do not have sidewalks and it is not very safe to walk on the road, especially at night.

  Dimora, una residencia muy encantadora

  Una casa realmente hermosa, con mucho encanto y acogedora. Sus dueños fueron muy amables, recibiéndonos muy bien. La propiedad cuenta con 3 habitaciones grandes, cada una con su propio baño amplio y una estancia en comun para el desayuno, estan separadas de la casa principal, con acceso independiente. Tiene estacionamiento propio, algo muy cómodo si estas recorriendo Puglia en auto. Además, a 5 minutos hay dos restaurants muy buenos: una braseria especializado en carnes y otro especializado en pescados. Es una muy buena base para recorrer desde Bari a Lecce, incluso Matera.
