A quiet room in the old town
Near the lower edge of the old town, this felt like an old building - the room has a stone barrel vault. One fairly small window (with mosquito mesh) and a view along the edge of the gorge. Being in a pedestrian area and not that close to restaurants etc. I found it to be pretty quiet at night. It was nce to have a quiet small fridge with some water and milk to go with the kettle and coffee machine.
The thing I most didn't like was the waterproof sheet under the top sheet, which made it feel - and sound - like one was sleeping on a rubber mattress. It was fairly cool when I was there but I imagine in hot weather this could be no fun at all. I ended up not actually meeting the host - not in itself a problem, but finding 4 euros in cash for the city tax was inconvenient.

V tomto případě stojí za zmínku především naprosto úžasná lokalita. Ubytování se nachází přímo v historickém centru Matery, a tedy všude je blízko. Parádní je střešní terasa, ze které je krásný výhled na rokli u Matery i východy slunce. Ubytování jako takové je v menším pokoji, kterému dominuje obrovská postel. Koupelna byla přiměřeně prostorná a čistá. S paní majitelkou Lucií jsme osobně nesetkali, ale byli jsme v pravidelném kontaktu přes WhatsApp a samoobslužný check-in byl bezproblémový.
K dispozici nebyla wi-fi.

Excepcional noche en Matera 🇺🇾
Para destacar la amabilidad y disposición de Lucía quien siempre estuvo comunicada con nosotros. Excelente la ubicación, la habitación excelentemente cuidada y muy cómoda la cama. Disfrutamos de su terraza con unas vistas excelentes. Recomendamos Dimora la Gravina en Matera
