Perfect lakeside apartment on lake como
If you're looking for a character filled apartment in the centre of a super cute italian lakeside village with lake views, then this is the one. Super friendly staff and breakfast at their lakeside restaurant is included. Varenna itself is definitely worth visiting as it's much smaller / less crowded than como or bellagio, we had a great time in the village - nice to walk around, great walk up to the old castle for magical views, short lakeside walk to the ferry, some great local restaurants including best pizza ever. Highly recommend staying here as there aren't many apartments right on the lake like this one is.
The apartment is above a couple of cafes which generates a little bit of noise in the day but actually added to the atmosphere and didn't disrupt us during the night at all. There's also cobblestones in the surrounding pedestrian only streets which is a usual european challenge when you are dragging a suitcase but again, part of the experience and not a deal breaker. You have to cross the cobblestones to get to the views.

Fantastic 2 nights on lake side in Varenna
Great location right next to the lake in the centre of Varenna. Lovely big windows looking out over the lake. Really comfortable bed in main room. Hospitality of Sino was excellent with assistance booking our table outside the first evening.
The bathroom is a little small but good use of space.
