A warm welcome at this spacious, spotless cottage in Swellendam.
We stayed in one of two very cute cottages on a large property on the western edge of Swellendam. The cottage was very well equipped and everything was crisp and clean. Secure parking under a sunroof behind locked gates. Lovely views of the mountains when you sit down to eat on the terrace!
After sundown a multitude of bugs descended on us, so take plenty of bug spray. A large transformer unit attached to the back wall of the twin bedroom, emitted a low droning sound all night long, so I did not sleep well. It can not be heard from the double room or the living room, though.

Perfect for a stopover or a long stay
So close to the N2 yet it felt like a secluded oasis where we could rest from the day's travelling or spend a week or two just enjoying everything this beautiful town has on offer.
Nothing was out of place.

Centraal gelegen in Swellendam. Prima woning voor een gezin van 4 met een fijne keuken. Helaas konden we door de regen niet van het terras voor het huis genieten. De woning warmde snel op. We vonden het fijn dat er zowel een douche als bad was en dat je de auto op het terrein kon parkeren. Erg leuk dat je de dieren mag voeren.
