    Würde ich nicht weiterempfehlen!

    Der Garten ist sehr schön und das Parken auf der Straße unkompliziert. Die Zimmer sind groß.

    Es müsste in der Beschreibung erwähnt werden, dass man am Frühstück gemeinsam mit allen Gästen an einem großen Tisch sitzt. Wir hatten Glück und haben uns alle gut verstanden aber das muss man schon mögen. Die Zimmer waren relativ sauber aber dafür alle Handtücher dreckig. Die Gastgeber (Sohn & Mutter) waren höflich aber sehr seltsam - ich kann es schwer beschreiben aber wir haben uns in ihrer Gegenwart gar nicht wohlgefühlt. Der Sohn meinte bei Abreise zu mir, er und seine Mutter hätten am Abend ein Meeting mit booking.com und deshalb müsste ich gleich eine 10 Sterne Bewertung schreiben und dürfte aber nicht sagen, dass er das gesagt hat - und es gab mehr Situationen wo man einfach das Gefühl hatte, dass man für dumm verkauft wird.

    Superb hosts, lovely accommodation

    The hosts, Marco and Monica, were fantastic, even at the end of a long hard season their enthusiasm and love for their business shines through. We felt very welcome and the advice we recieved regarding visiting Palermo was superb.

    All great and the 30 minute walk to Mondello beach was no problem.

    Living life in the lap of luxury.

    Marco and his mother, Monica, run a first class property. When you arrive at their place and step through their gate, a whole new world opens up to you! The property is lush. The buildings and their furnishings are incredible. It is almost as if you are living in another world, one filled with museum pieces and whimsy. The mix of very old world and modern shows a level of exquisite design taste. Then you sit down for the breakfasts! Between the homemade foccacia and omelets supreme, what more could you ask for?!?! Marco is so particular in helping advise of sites and activities. Between his mother, Monica, and Marco, a stay at Domus Osterea is more than spectacular: it is the best!!

    There was nothing about the property we didn’t like. We only wish we had come earlier in the season, to be able to truly enjoy the pool and loungers.

    A world of luxury behind the gates awaits at Domus Orestea!

    Don’t let the road leading up to this property fool you. Once inside the gates of Domus Orestea, you walk into a world of tranquility and exquisite beauty. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the decor almost museum-like. Monica’s taste in furnishings is superb. Even down to the Italian linens used for the bedding. Luxurious for sure. And make sure to have at least one of Monica’s omelets: delizioso !! And what can I say about Marco? He is the best!! He truly loves helping his guests have the very best stay ever. His Italian charm is so nice to experience. Well situated: close enough to Palermo to drive in for the day. And right next to Mondello Beach for a relaxing day by the sea. Definitely a great place to stay with amazing people who truly care.
