Beautiful apartment, perfect location, and wonderful hospitality!
We had a fantastic stay at Donna Franca! The apartment was tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean, and had absolutely everything we needed. Slippers to wear around the apartment were even provided, which was such a thoughtful touch. Basically the amenities of a hotel, but with the comfort of having our own space. Alex was there to welcome us when we arrived and took the time to walk us through everything. He also shared wonderful recommendations and helpful tips for our stay. Since we were hopping around Sicily and wanted to make the most of our time in Taormina, his advice was especially appreciated. The location is ideal, especially if you have a car. The staircase to the Lumbi parking lot is about a 5-minute walk away, followed by stairs down to the lot. We had no problem bringing our luggage, but Lumbi also offers a free shuttle that drops you off about a 5-minute walk from the apartment. The cable car to the beach is conveniently nearby, and there is a supermarket right below for anything you might need. Alex also thoughtfully provided a few essentials, including water, to get us started. Everything was perfect, from the fresh, comfortable bedding to the lovely smell of the apartment and the well-stocked soap and espresso supplies. We also appreciated having a great working hair dryer, an iron, and a small ironing board. These little essentials make such a difference when you’re living out of a suitcase! Beach bag, towels and umbrella were also provided. We felt comfortable immediately and wanted for nothing. This was honestly one of the best places we have ever stayed, and we would 100% return and recommend Donna Franca to anyone visiting Taormina!

We had a wonderful stay at Donna Franca in Taormina. The place was beautiful, comfortable, and had such a lovely atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our time there and felt very much at home. A special thank you to Alex, who was extremely helpful, attentive, and always available whenever we needed anything. His hospitality really made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely love to stay at Donna Franca again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taormina!
