Trashy and rundown with harassing property owner.
Close to beach
The house is on a very busy road with no stop signs, so noisy cars whiz by at all hours. Therefore, the master bedroom in front is loud. There are no blackout curtains, so you get the headlights coming in too. The back bedroom has a strong mold smell. That leaves the middle bedroom with 2 twin beds. I arrived to find dog poop in the area of the outdoor shower, which I had to clean. There were small bits of trash all over the yard, which I also cleaned a lot of. Even though toiletries are provided, all that was provided was hand soap in the bathrooms, dish soap, toilet paper and paper towels. The property manager Jessica told me they never provide shower soap. The towels and one washcloth were old, small, and scratchy. The beds and all furniture were old and very uncomfortable. 2 very small TVs. No light in the laundry room. You are expected to do a lot for what you already pay housekeeping to do, such as placing all trash in outside bins, stripping off all sheets and towels, and even starting a laundry load before you leave. Overall a rundown place. The property owner also harassed (to the point of having to block her from my personal number) with multiple messages about paying some fees in cash and we had already agreed to it verbally on the phone before I arrived there. Even threatening to throw us out and actually sending her property manager to do it but luckily we smoothed things over. Always get everything in writing and keep all communication on the platform used to book. I have never been treated like this by any rental place and I refuse to use any rentals by this property owner Holly again.
