  A wonderful stay – exceptional hospitality! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  I had a truly wonderful experience at Hotel Domera in Hikkaduwa. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcome. The warm hospitality, lovely atmosphere and attention to detail made my stay particularly special. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, as well as the hotel manager, who was always available for any concerns. What really sets this place apart is the personal touch and the feeling of being cared for. It is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery, and I left with very fond memories. I would wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Domera to anyone visiting the area and would be delighted to return. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

  Franzi (manager) and the whole crew were absolutely amazing. Franzi was more than loving, caring and wonderful with me - I enjoyed every moment at this place because they made it to a such wonderful experience for me.

  I would have loved to stay longer - sooo amazing.

  Das Dormero Hotel in Hikkaduwa war mit Abstand das Unterkunfts-Highlight meiner Rundreise. Ich habe mich von Anfang an sehr wohl hier gefühlt! Über Booking.com habe ich ein wirklich gutes Angebot gefunden. Die Rezeptionistin hat mich herzlichst begrüßt und mir nach einer erfrischenden Kokosnuss das Hotel gezeigt, bevor sie mich zum Zimmer begleitete. Später hatte ich den großen Pool quasi für mich alleine. Die Liegen wurden unaufgefordert mit weichen Pölstern ausgestattet, ein weiteres Handtuch wurde mir sehr aufmerksam ausgebreitet und außerdem bekam ich guten Tee direkt an den Pool serviert. Das wirklich köstliche Abendessen, sowie auch das üppige Frühstück konnte ich auf meine Bitte in aller Ruhe draußen an der frischen Luft genießen. Mit dem Kellner, der mich rundum versorgte und auch bei den Speisen bestens beraten konnte, kam es zu einem netten Gespräch, das uns beiden ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zauberte. Das Zimmer war sauber, gut klimatisiert, schön und vor allem sehr geräumig und stilvoll eingerichtet! Abends saß ich noch auf dem Balkon und genoss das Meeresrauschen bei tollem Ambiente. Das Personal war nicht nur sehr freundlich, sondern auch unglaublich zuvorkommend! An der Rezeption wurde ich stets mit einem warmen Lächeln empfangen und ein paar deutsche Worte dort zu hören war unerwartet, aber erfrischend. Die Hotel-Managerin war zu meiner (spontanen) Anreise leider selbst nicht vor Ort, hat sich aber auch direkt nach meinem Wohlbefinden erkundigt - da habe ich mich wirklich gut umsorgt gefühlt! Der Hotelhund Kiki ist übrigens ein erfrischendes Highlight. Sollte ich das Land wieder bereisen, steht dieses Hotel bestimmt ganz oben auf meiner Liste!

  Dass ich leider nur eine Nacht hier verbracht habe!

  A truly wonderful stay from start to finish. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, the rooms are comfortable and spotless, and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home. If you’re looking for a peaceful beachfront escape with exceptional hospitality, this is the place. I can’t wait to return!
