  Good staff, disappointing flat

  The breakfast in general was really good, with plenty of pastries, fruit, yogurt, and coffee options. Dominga was there all three days and was very friendly and helpful. She prepared omelettes and coffee for us. Kudos to Dominga!

  The pictures really oversell the flat. It is very old and has clear plumbing issues in the bathroom: there was a bad sewage smell all the time. Whenever you turned on the bathroom light, a very noisy exhaust fan came on automatically. It was probably there to get rid of the sewage odor, but the noise was almost as annoying. Also the toilet was not fixed on the floor. This can be very dangerous. There were some welcome amenities when we arrived, but they were very poorly prepared: an old cornetto (not spoiled, but badly presented), a dented Coca-Cola can that we couldn’t even open, and only two glasses, even though there were three of us. The check-in process was very frustrating. We were supposed to unlock the building and flat doors with an app that didn’t work, so we had to wait for other residents to let us in. Afterwards, I contacted Giorgia to report the problem, but she kept insisting that we try the app. After several unsuccessful attempts, she finally had to give me a password to open the door another way. This delayed our check-in by almost 30 minutes. The second day’s breakfast was below standard: there were no pastries or bread. It was a Sunday, so maybe it was a planning issue. The Wi-Fi was also down for the whole first day, and there is no mobile signal inside the flat, which made things even more annoying.

  Guter Ausgangspunkt um Rom zu erkunden. Liegt in der Nähe zum Bahnhof, daher umkomplizierte Anreise.

  Italienisches Frühstück, war ok, ich hatte auch nicht mehr erwartet.

  Good location near Termini Station but within walking distance to the city center. We had a little snack and water and coca cola upon arrival. On the first morning we we greeted at breakfast by Dominga, she was simply amazing and breakfast was very good, a lot of variety. When we arrived at the room after the first day put exploring the city, we had a complimentary prosecco, which was a nice detail.

  The day of our arrival, there was a strong odor of bleach in the bathroom, it was too intense for me, but we considered it was a sign of deep cleaning; as the bleach odor fainted, that there was a characteristic smell we could not identify, but was not pleasant, maybe that's the reason for the use of the bleach. It didn't bothered us much, since we only stayed 2 nights.
