    Porto grew on us. We slowly fell in love with this remarkable city.

    The location of the apartment was wonderful. The communication with the staff prior and during the stay was excellent.

    Needs some type of shade on balcony and more ice trays.

    Porto is amazing, staying in this flat is not so much...

    Porto is one of the top places in Europe for a city break. Recommend Porto to everyone.

    This is a factual review: 1. There is a construction site opposite the flat and the building works will last a few months, at least. If the sound of heavy drilling and hammering from 8am onwards is what you're looking for, then this flat is for you. 2. You must collect the keys from the letting agent office which is about 15-20mins walk from the flat itself, depending on how fast you walk and how much luggage you're carrying. They will not meet you at the property to give you the keys. If you're familiar with the streets of Porto and you're not carrying a suitcase, then this flat is for you. 3. The check-in is at 15.00 (not a minute less) and check-out is at 10.30 (not a minute more). This is the earliest check-out we've ever experienced in any place we've stayed in Porto (and trust me, we've stayed in loads of different places). You will get offered to extend your stay of course for a fair price but be careful not to seem too demanding or the agent will not allow you to extend (even if you decide to pay for the extension). If you're departing early and/or have no issues with waking up early during your holidays to check-out, then this flat is for you. 4. It is a flat (not a hotel) and so there are plates, cutlery, etc. What they don't provide is dishwashing liquid and no sponge to clean the dishes which meant we had to buy from the local supermarket. If you're happy to purchase cleaning products during your stay, then this flat is for you. 5. The agent we dealt with via messages thrives on communicating with borderline sarcasm, passive-aggressiveness and even a slightly confrontational tone. If you enjoy this type of interaction, then this flat is for you.

    The location is very central. Easy access to all sights and transport. The apartment is modern and has a great balcony.

    Due to the location it can get a bit too noisy at night. The air conditioning is right above the bed, so you get blasted by cold air and noise.
