  Very comfortable and easy to access

  There were 6 of us and there wasn’t enough space in the living room for all of us to sit together.

  Ferien in Edinburgh

  Dieses Mal hatte ich die Kenna Suite - kleiner als die Ember Suite, aber für 1 Person ideal. Die Suite war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Sie befindet sich zudem in einem sehr ruhigen Quartier, ist aber trotzdem ein paar Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt. ÖV, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants/Cafes sind ebenfalks ganz in der Nähe.

  Die Suite befindet sich im 2. OG eines alten Gebäudes ohne Lift. Sollte jemand nicht gut zu Fusse sein, empfiehlt sich die Ember Suite im EG (kleiner Treppenaufstieg ausserhalb des Gebäudes).

  A great location and well suited for a family visit to the city.

  Great location. Perfect family self contained accommodation in an historic part of Edinburgh. Close to transport and many amenities (Post Office, supermarket etc.

  A few minor things could be improved. A coat rack for outside coats. More clothes hanging space. Better lighting in the master bedroom.

  Lovely apartment in a great location

  We stayed in the Kenna Suite - lovely little apartment with a very comfy bed.

  Only snag was that the lock wasn’t working on the luggage store downstairs.

  Expensive, given the experience.

  A clean, nicely presented apartment with good facilities.

  Unfortunately the overall experience was let down by maintenance problems and inflexible customer service. On first using the shower, the bathroom flooded because the drain was severely blocked. The maintenance person appeared to be familiar with the issue and knew which bathroom was affected without us having to specify it. The Wi-Fi was also abysmal and barely useable. We found the approach to check-in and check-out particularly unwelcoming. Although the apartment was ready, we were asked to pay an additional £35 to access it two hours before the 4pm check-in time. We declined. We were also informed that staying beyond the 10am check-out time would result in a £50 charge. A 4pm check-in combined with a 10am check-out is, in my view, quite unreasonable, especially when early access to an already-ready apartment attracts a substantial extra fee. I also thought that they might have shown some courtesy given our inconvenience experienced. The accommodation itself has plenty going for it, but the guest experience and maintenance standards need improvement.
