  Logement agréable, mais séjour décevant en raison de nombreux dysfonctionnements et d’informations importantes manquante

  Le logement est spacieux, agréable et bien situé pour découvrir le sud de Tenerife. L’environnement est calme et la maison dispose d’un extérieur agréable. L’hébergement est globalement bien équipé et pourrait être très agréable avec un meilleur entretien et une information plus claire sur les équipements et leurs conditions d’utilisation.

  Logement agréable mais séjour très décevant en raison de nombreux dysfonctionnements dès notre arrivée : machine à laver inutilisable, télévision sans signal, poignée cassée, carrelage décollé et placard endommagé. Plusieurs interventions ont été nécessaires, avec remplacement de la machine à laver et du module TV. L’annonce devrait surtout préciser clairement que la climatisation est une option payante de 20 € par nuit et que le Wi-Fi est uniquement disponible dans les parties communes et ne fonctionne pas correctement dans les chambres. Ces informations devraient être clairement indiquées dans l’annonce afin que les voyageurs puissent réserver en connaissance de cause.

  Wir haben drei wunderschöne Wochen in diesem Haus verbracht und uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist wirklich großzügig und bietet sehr viel Platz. Es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer mit Schlafmöglichkeiten für insgesamt fünf Personen, und besonders angenehm fanden wir, dass jedes Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Bad mit Toilette hat. Zusätzlich gibt es im Erdgeschoss noch ein weiteres Badezimmer. Die große Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man für einen längeren Aufenthalt benötigt. Ein besonderes Highlight waren für uns die Außenbereiche: zwei große Terrassen und ein wunderschöner großer Balkon im oberen Stockwerk. Die hintere Terrasse ist direkt vom Wohnzimmer und von der Küche aus zugänglich und bietet sehr viel Platz. Besonders gerne haben wir die Abende oben auf dem Balkon verbracht und den Sternenhimmel beobachtet – wunderschön! Leider konnten wir die Terrasse vorne am Eingang nicht nutzen, da die dortigen Möbel bei einem Sturm beschädigt worden waren, wie uns die Vermieterin erklärt hat. Das war etwas schade, denn gerade am frühen Abend wäre diese Terrasse ideal gewesen, wenn es auf der anderen Seite des Hauses noch sehr warm war. Auch den Pool haben wir sehr genossen. Während unseres Aufenthalts hatten wir häufig das Gefühl, ihn fast für uns allein zu haben. Liegen waren vorhanden, allerdings keine Sonnenschirme. Wir hatten ohnehin Sonnenschirme für den Strand gekauft und konnten diese problemlos auch am Pool benutzen. Unsere Gastgeberin Olga war jederzeit erreichbar, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns viele tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants gegeben. Besonders ihre Restaurantempfehlungen waren wirklich hervorragend. Unser Favorit war El Delfín – dort habe ich die beste Paella gegessen! Wer dort essen möchte, sollte am besten einige Tage vorher reservieren und nach Möglichkeit einen Tisch am großen Terrassenfenster wählen. Die Schlüsselübergabe war völlig unkompliziert. Eine Klimaanlage kann gegen Aufpreis dazugebucht werden.

  A great place, if not...

  The house is spacious and well equipped with everything you need on vacation. The location is fine when using a rental car. Otherwise, it might require some efforts to go to the beach and climb uphill on the way back. Parking in front of the house, it is always easy to find a free spot. The host is helpful and provides support and useful tips for the stay. The quality to price ratio is outstanding. I would rate this house 8,5 out of 10, if it were not for the issue with the hidden costs, which I described below.

  I was surprised in a negative way when upon arrival, we were asked to pay an additional fee for the use of air conditioning. The amount was not small - €20 per day for 2 aircos. Even this would not be a problem if specified clearly in the description. But it was only mentioned that airco comes at an extra price. The host sent me the screenshot from FAQ, which I could not find in the text by myself. Anyway, the price has to be clearly indicated on the front page, not hidden somewhere in the sub-menu. Moreover, as an experienced traveler, I have never seen additional costs for the air conditioning. The reasoning from the host was the high energy consumption, but even that could not justify €20 per day. Being myself the specialist in electrical engineering, I can not see how 2 aircos can cost more than €3-4 per day at current electricity prices on Tenerife. As a result, we refused to pay, and the funniest thing is that we didn't need these aircos. The night on the island brings fresh breeze from the ocean, and it is enough just to open the doors to cool down the bedroom. In my opinion, all this situation is a pure manipulation, aimed for the people arriving after an exhausting trip. It is really a shame that the whole impression from such a good accommodation was spoiled by bad business strategy. Just raise the price and keep your clients happy! Apart from the above, I can only mention WiFi not working on the upper floor and some outdated items.
