The host confirmed a cancellation without informing us, leaving us under the impression that our reservation was still valid. When we arrived at the property, we were told that our room had been double-booked. It has now been four days since our scheduled check-in, and the host still has not refunded our payment.

I wasn't able to stay in this place as the host cancelled my booking on the eve of my arrival.

It was really inconvenient to be cancelled on the eve of your stay with no proper handling of cancellation/refund. It took awhile to fix it and some communication to the customer service.
