Our personal cabin!
We checked in late, which presented no real problem. The keys were right there for me. Finding the cabin in the dark was a bit tricky, but only took a couple minutes. The cabin was roomy, and was very comfortable. Since we got there after dark, we were very surprised to see the lake right out the front of the unit when we got up the next morning. We checked out before the office opened, so we unfortunately had no interaction with staff. Next time we get to Gettysburg, we will have no doubts about booking here again.

We were kinda sad that we only did 4 days at Drummer Boy. We would absolutely stay here again.
Staff lady during check I was great. The cabins were very spacious. Location was perfect. Lots of amenities. Loved that they provided most of what was needed for cooking and cleaning. Water pressure was GREAT! Hot water did not disappoint. AC/heat unit was clean and worked great.
The bed was far from good initially, however we were able to make it work. Our cabin was missing some utensils, but it was only 2 of is in each cabin so it all worked out. The TV’s should be lowered. Hurts the neck looking up so high.

An excellent place to stay for an extended trip in Gettysburg.
This is a very nicely located property with very quick access to Gettysburg proper and the Gettysburg Battlefield Park. Our cottage was a very nice little place with a decent amount of room for our family of six. The kitchen was nicely equipped with cooking utensils and pots and pans. There are many grocery stores to choose from in Gettysburg that got us stocked nicely for our stay. We would definitely recommend this place if you're looking to experience and explore Gettysburg. The after hours check-in and check-out procedures are uncomplicated.
The air conditioning unit in our room was (I believe) an inverter type. It kept it nice and cool, but it wasn't regulating the humidity in the room. It was quite humid during our stay and it made it a bit uncomfortable inside in spite of the cooler air. While there was a nicely appointed kitchen, it lacked an oven. An oven would have been nice.

The cabin was beautiful! The location was great!
There was no circulation for the air to cool the bedroom down. It was very hot at night.
