    Excellent stay in a very quiet house

    Location was excellent. House was very clean and comfortable. Self catering so we cooked and bought our own food. Some basics were in the house for us when we arrived. Loved watching the birds and squirrels, and being visited by the owners dogs . Bill and Dawn were lovely people and were very accommodating to our needs.

    Communication about what was supplied was a little sketchy.

    La situation en pleine campagne dans un beau jardin. L'accueil des propriétaires : très souriants et ayant prévu différentes : attentions comme des oeufs, du lait dans le frigidaire, des gâteaux et des bonbons. La propreté et la décoration de l'appartement.

    Pour entrer dans la salle de bain et toilettes il faut passer par une des chambres. L'insonorisation n'est pas totale : on entend un peu les propriétaires. Lit un peu trop mou à mon goût

    We had a wonderful, truly idyllic stay at Drummond Lodge.

    We had a wonderful, truly idyllic stay at Drummond Lodge. The setting is peaceful, quiet, and wonderfully relaxing, making it the perfect getaway. Bill and Dawn are a lovely couple and exceptional hosts who made us feel warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. Most importantly, it felt completely safe and secure for our dog, Charlie, who had the best time running around and playing happily with Ruby, Frankie, and Eggy. We couldn’t have asked for a better pet-friendly break and would love to return!

    Hidden Gem

    Hosts were incredibly kind and generous, the space was warm and inviting. So much was provided when it didnt have to be. The gardens were stunning. The whole family had the most incredible deep, refreshing sleeps as there was no light pollution. We will definitely be back
