    Value for money

    The location is great. The room was clean. Staff are very friendly.

    The shower slider was broken and loose, stuck at the lowest setting

    Great hotel right on the seafront

    The staff were very welcoming and our room was available upon arrival. The room was facing the sea and was very clean, with there being all the usual extras, teas, coffee and biscuits. The shower was hot with a lovely gel. Whilst only a small point, it was great to be open the windows to allow a constant flow of fresh air, too many hotels have sealed windows or small openings, with the need to use air conditioning! A great breakfast with a fine choice of both continental or cooked. For a hotel right on the seafront, Dukes ticked the boxes for us.

    Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt!

    Das war ein rundum gelungener, mit einer Nacht leider zu kurzen, Aufenthalt während meiner Wanderung auf dem SWCP. Mein Zimmer war angenehm groß, gut ausgestattet und ich habe mich gleich wohlgefühlt. Das Essen sowohl am Abend (seafood chowder) als auch das Frühstück waren sehr lecker. Dazu war auch noch das Personal sehr freundlich und die Lage super.

    We enjoyed it but would need a sea view next time

    The position the staff and the food.

    No 2 room was noisy with the big unit outside on the roof
