    A bit disappointed

    The location of this cottage was fantastic. Easy accessible. To the town Square Kitchen well equipped , Lots of storage .

    I think it could have mattress toppers on as the mattress on both double beds were uncomfortable,didn't have a good sleep The shower in the small upstairs bathroom had lots of dirt and the silicone around the shower tray needs replacing very mildew and mouldy. Doesn't look very nice . Would be an simple job to replace and renew and not expensive either. New towels ... some of the towels had stains on Like a bleach stain . Some nice fluffy towels and a few hand towels too . The small outside area had a old door lying against the wall this didn't look nice this area outside could do with a bit of a tidy up. Some little touches could easily make the cottage better.

    Lovely cottage , lots of room and fab location

    Lovely , clean and welcoming cottage . Well maintained , with everything you need for a home from home stay . Fab location , 3 mins from main town square . Host was exceptional , fantastic communication, excellent service and quick reply’s to all my questions. Would highly recommend.

    Nothing - it was exactly what we wanted from our stay .

    An excellent place to stay, and close to everything you need!

    Clean, comfortable and in a convenient location.

    There is some traffic noise, especially during the morning rush.

    Loved our stay at Dundas Cottage. Very cosy and perfect walking distance to everything.

    A lovely cottage within easy walking distance to the market place and lots of great cafes, pubs and scenic walks. Lidl is just a two minute walk away. The cottage was perfect for our family group and the grown up kids didn’t mind sharing the bunk room. All the beds were very comfy. 2 good working showers. The kitchen is very cosy especially if all 8 of us were in it but it still worked well. Useful having a downstairs toilet as well as two upstairs . We were staying as some of us were doing The Swaledale Marathon. The bath was very welcome afterwards! We’d definitely recommend this cottage and I’m sure we’ll be back. Also the Italian restaurant next door is worth a visit.

    We could have done with some more cooking receptacles. More baking trays/pyrex dishes would have been useful. And some kitchen scissors. Curtains in the main bedroom would help to block the morning light as it shines in despite the shutters being closed. Apart from that we couldn’t think of any faults about the place
