    Not the best!

    Breakfast was great!

Quite a way out from Whitby. Breakfast was generous. However, when checking in, we had to go and look for someone to check in. Wasn't shown to our room, was directed "up the stairs, and up the stairs again, through the fire door and up the stairs again". No welcome in our room, instructions regarding breakfast or wifi password. No phone to call a reception. Booked for 3 adults, given an uncomfortable fold out bed, even though listed as a "sofa bed" - my adult son ended up sleeping on the couch as the fold out bed was too uncomfortable. Only 2 cups, 2 towels and 2 glasses. 1 very small bottle of shower gel and shampoo/conditioner and 1 piece of soap (again booked for 3 adults) - water bottles (×2) were left out and the water was warm. No bar fridge to keep anything cold. Luckily we only stayed 1 night!

Adequate but would not visit again.

Friendly staff, white table cloths, warm enough.

Small double bed, no toiletries, cobwebs in room, Tv remote did not work, room stepped up into bed, mucky sky light, no plug in the wardrobe room where the hairdryer and mirror was! room 11 needs updating. Spoke to area manager who advised they were up grading the place.

Lovely stay and great location for Whitby and Sandsend

Lovely place to stay and friendly staff.

The hot breakfast could’ve been better but still nice.
