Would highly recommend and hope to stay again in the future.
The local jam and shortbread were delicious and very much appreciated, as was the wine - thank you.
It would have been nice to know that we could have made a wood fire in the living room and for there to be wood available. Also unfortunately the central heating wasn't working and it was a little cold!! However, a real highlight was the heroic effort of the manager and his wife coming to safely capture and release the small bat in the main bedroom - lots of excitement!!

Faultless holiday cottage with everything you need. So quaint and cosy, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure. Complimentary welcome pack of wine, milk, and shortbread along with free entry to the Castle made it even better.
Not much, hard to fault.
