    Fantastic apartment in fabulous location

    This is an exceptionally spacious apartment which leads off a small courtyard off the stunning Piazza de Duomo in Ortigia. It couldn't be more central. It is 2 small balconies which look out to sea straight into the setting sun so are perfect for a sundowner before heading into town. It has 2 big reception rooms and a spacious hallway . The main bedroom has a small room off (perfect for suitcases / clothes) and an en suite. The second bedroom is much smaller and is served by a smaller shower room across the hallway. The hosts couldn't have been more responsive and helpful before and during the stay particularly with regard to permits for the traffic restricted area and where to park the car to unload the luggage (it is a bit of a walk to the apartment as it is in a pedestrian zone). Big thank-you to Grozdana for her kindness and responsiveness - she even came to meet the car, help us with our bags and take us to the apartment (we would never have found it on our own). Altogether a perfect place to spend a few days in the gorgeous Ortigia.

    The only thing that was slightly sub-optimal was that most of the power sockets were type L (three pins in a row) which didn't fit any of the chargers that we had (2 pin). There were only a couple of type F (2 pins for higher voltage appliances) which we could use in the kitchen . I suggest that future visitors to older properties in Sicily buy the small L to F converters for flexibility.

    Magnifique appartement, calme et très confortable, au cœur d’Ortigie

    Tout : sa localisation, la vue sur la mer, le confort, les volumes, le calme, les conseils excellents de l’agence qui gère l’appartement et leur disponibilité. Nous reviendrons !

    Un fan au salon serait un plus (les autres pièces sont climatisées)
