  Only the Location!

  Almost everything was a disaster…. Our stay at this property was, without question, one of the biggest regrets of our family holiday to Italy. We travelled to Florence as a family for a very special occasion and spent a considerable amount of money bringing everyone together. We chose this property based on the photographs, description, location and facilities advertised. Unfortunately, the reality we experienced was very different from what we believed we had booked. From the moment we arrived, there were problems. The apartment was simply not properly cleaned or prepared for arriving guests. There were cobwebs on the ceilings, accumulated dust on fittings and around the kitchen area, and an overall standard of cleanliness that we found completely unacceptable. Far more seriously, the air conditioning was not functioning properly during an extreme heatwave in Italy. With the outside temperatures soaring, the conditions inside the apartment became unbearable. My wife suffered asthma attacks during our stay, which we believe were aggravated by the heat, dampness and dust inside the property. Even more concerning, my daughter was pregnant at the time. After enduring the conditions for two nights, she and her husband decided that they could no longer comfortably remain in the apartment and had to check into a hotel for the remainder of their stay. That alone should demonstrate just how serious the situation had become. On our very first day in Florence, instead of enjoying the city and the tours we had planned, we had to cancel our plans and remain at the apartment waiting for maintenance and cleaners to attend. The additional cleaning was eventually carried out, but the air-conditioning problem could not be resolved. And the problems continued. We repeatedly experienced issues with the hot water heater, requiring maintenance to attend the apartment on a daily basis to try to resolve it.

  Great place to stay in fantastic location.

  Great location, easy check in (host was great), view from terrace was outstanding.

  The AC unit in one of the bedrooms didn't work well (master bedroom), plus curtain arrangement didn't block out the sunlight.

  Unique Apartment. Great Location. Expensive.

  Location was fabulous. The apartment was unique and very old world Italian which was gorgeous. The outside terrace space was amazing to have and the view of the Duomo is wonderful especially in the evenings. Highly recommend this apartment for families and large groups

  Due to fly delay we were approx 10/15 mins past 8pm arriving at the apartment. We were charged €30 extra cash for the person to wait with the keys. We had notified the company when we landed. Considering the high cost of the apartment I thought this was a bit cheeky.

  Perfect base for our family stay in Florence

  Location was great, the property was lovely and the pictures didn't do it justice. Perfect base to enjoy Florence.

  We sometimes had trouble opening the front door with the keys. The outside terrace could use a little tlc.
