    Good Overnight Stay

    Eagle's Nest in Barberton stands out as the best choice for decent accommodation in the area, offering a clean, quiet, and restful overnight stay on beautifully maintained grounds. Thanks to the exceptional hospitality of the host, Carol, who was incredibly nice, welcoming, and accommodating, my low expectations for a small-town stay were completely turned around. While the bedding was not the standard white linen, it was perfectly clean, making for a comfortable night's rest despite the rooms being quite small and standard.

    On the downside, the rooms are quite compact and basic—ideal only for a quick stopover—with minor bathroom inconveniences like a small shower cubicle, a poor-quality shower head, and water that was only lukewarm rather than properly hot in the morning. Additionally, while the room features a small fridge, it lacks a microwave to warm up food. The journey to the property also requires careful driving, as the access road leading up to Eagle's Nest is heavily plagued with potholes.
