East of Ayton
We had problems first night with the TV and Internet and after we explained we were given a better room for the same price. Both rooms were very comfortable .
One of the exits for our car from the hotel was very narrow with stonework on either side. It was an awkward exit.

Gorgeous place in a beautiful setting. Fab price, cheerful staff and yummy food. x
My BFF and I travelled for an evening wedding do. We were extremely impressed by this hotel - in a gorgeous setting and with the most gorgeous room. Everything was really clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and cheerful. We had a wonderful meal in the fabulous conservatory - and we were so loathe to leave the next day that we stayed and had a coffee in the pub part! We will definitely be back - hopefully bringing the rest of the gang with us! Thank you so much, we had an amazing stay, at an exceptionally good cost too. x

The room was nice and spacious
The food in the evening. Husband had pie chips and veg. The pie was a pukka pie chips were frozen but ok plenty of veg. I got the mac and cheese. The portion size was absolutely atrocious. 3 spoonful and was gone. No rich cheese sauce it was a very week minimal sauce with a little grated cheese. I had husbands vegs. I choose the mac and cheese as I was running the scarborough 10k the next day. I mentioned to the staff 3 times about the portion size and was told that that is our smallest portion dish. I paid £15 for that. Appalling. I ended up having the sticky toffee pudding and custard. Custard cold sponge microwaved as there were hot spots. Not happy at all.
