Great location but disappointing service.
The location is excellent.
One lady overcharged me for drinks and laundry. I feel it was due to my mzungu skin. The prices were later verified with other staff but no apology or refund was given. The breakfast was bland and the restaurant was not open for lunch or dinner.

There isn't much in Moshi and this hotel is as good as any for the centre of town.
It was in central Moshi and the breakfast was ok.
It's situated between two mosques so the 05:30 wake-up call is in stereo, neither of which imam's calls to prayer are "live".

Wonderful overall. I felt at home and safe when i checked in.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, there was a no smoking policy, no noise in the area despite being in a busy market area, clean spaces, etc.
Well there's this policy about not sitting with your legs on the sofa. So one has to sit leg down at all times which for me was a problem as i am used to folding at least one leg onto the sofa. There was no explanation for this. It seemed rude but it took another guest to offer an explanation - that it is something about the culture of people in that area who find the posture disrespectful. At least that offered closure and i felt better and more compliant.
