    The lodge and surroundings were beautiful and so peaceful. We had a really lovely stay here. The bed was so comfy and the outside bath great for a bath under the stars! Would highly recommend.

    Absolutely Fabolous

    Only high praises! No regrates whatsoever staying in one of the lodges. It was very lovely to come and find after a very long drive some croissants, scones tea, coffee, milk and even butter; it was a very kind and lovely touch on the hosts part. Absolutely loved that there were machine wash and ironing facilities. The place is serene and very beautiful. We loved absolutely everything about our stay. Everything was clean, very comfortable bed and plenty of space in the lodge. Bath on the porch is an amazing addition. I would definitely suggest to use it! Balerno is a lovely village, about 25-30 min drive from Edinburgh centre, about 10 min drive to Asda. There is a bus taking you directly to Edinburgh centre. However, there is quite a walk from the lodge to the bus stop, suggestion to just drive there and park car at the car park very close to the bus stop free of charge. highly recommend

    Everything was lovely, nothing to complain about, but would suggest to add some bowls for salads.
