    Insects everywhere

    We stayed at this property for a couple of nights and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Our biggest concern was the cleanliness. There were cobwebs and spiders under the sink and around the shower, woodlice around the bathroom door, and various other insects throughout the property. It really could do with a thorough deep clean. Another major issue was the electronic key system. We returned one evening at around 12:30 am to find that the key wasn’t working, leaving us locked out. There was nobody on-site to assist, and the usual contact numbers were not working. We eventually managed to reach an emergency out-of-hours contact who reset the system, but it was a frustrating experience. We specifically chose this property because it advertised parking included. However, spaces are extremely limited and fill up quickly, meaning that if you return later in the evening, you will likely have to use street parking. The property was also not as spacious as it appeared in the photographs. Additionally, although a lift is advertised, it only goes to the second floor, meaning guests staying on the third floor must use the stairs, which can be inconvenient with luggage. Overall, the listing could be more transparent, and the property would certainly benefit from improved cleanliness and maintenance.
