  Great place. Host is hot and cold.

  Nice property in a convenient location for a good price. Close to the skitube and Jindabyne (around 10-15 mins each way). Everything you need at home for cooking and cleaning etc is available in the property. We were graciously given an early check in free of charge on request and when our check out was pushed back an hour because it was unsafe to drive in the terrible wind/rain storm, there were no issues. Beautiful wildlife on the reserve.

  The family of Huntsman spiders that live in a recessed gap where the walls meet the ceiling in our bedroom and toilet. The attitude from the out of hours staff at 9pm on the 2nd night that left us scared to reach out. The call: I turned on the shower the 1st and 2nd night only to get a trickle of hot water that turned freezing after 10 seconds. On the 1st night I assumed a small hot water tank ran out with our use of hot water to wash dishes earlier; however, on the 2nd day we hadn't used any hot water, so I thought I must be missing something. There were unique shower instructions in the guest book and the associated tech wasn't turning on. So I called the out of hours number provided at 9pm to see if there was something I was missing. The system was clearly unusual. It was my 2nd night with no shower and I had been skiing after all. I greeted the woman and asked how she was. She said she was 'good.' and waited for me to continue. I explained the shower issue and she asked me what I expected her to do, that she couldn't get a plumber to me at this time and I should have called during the day after my first attempted shower - that it's after 9pm. I didn't explain that I had assumed my prior cold shower was from using hot water earlier that day as the way she was speaking to me made me uncomfortable. However I did explain that the water system is obviously complex so I wanted to see if I was missing something, not get a plumber. Luckily, and as expected, I was able to shower that night without needing a plumber. Don't know how she expected me to know how to use the unusual water system when the instructions weren't current (explains the tech not turning on), or why she was so condescending given her contact is provided for out of hours queries with no 'emergencies only' specification.
