  We loved Belkiss, she was warm, friendly and really bent over backwards to try to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. We were leaving early and she made a fantastic box breakfast for us to take with us as we weren't able to wait for the buffet breakfast included in the price. She really is the heart and soul of the place and if I were to set up business in the local area, i would want her to work for me. We had an issue with the first two rooms, she really tried her best to make us as comfortable as possible.

  We could have been told that there were many animals around the hotel. We love animals, but I'm talking about four large dogs who barked every time anyone breathed. There was also a cat that the owners told us was a stray and that there wasn't much that they could do about it. How about this for a suggestion? Take the cat food tray off the counter so that it doesn't encourage the cat inside, and on the furniture. When we arrived the cat was lounged across the dining room table. Given that I am allergic to cats, this was not something that I wanted to see. The place smelled generally of horses, cows, cats and dogs. Again, we love animals, but we don't like the sense of sleeping with them. The hotel is not soundproofed at all and people leaving at 3.00am was disturbing - you can imagine the dogs - and then the staff working outside were disturbing as they chatted with their coffee outside at 5.00am. If this is your thing, you'll love it - we prefer to be prewarned. The windows between the bedrooms and the communal/dining area are open at the top so you hear everything.

  Cabaña tranquila rodeada de naturaleza

  El alojamiento cuenta con diferentes tipos de habitaciones, en nuestro caso estábamos en una cabaña aislada pero muy próxima a la casa. La cabaña estaba muy limpia y era muy acogedora. Las dos mujeres que nos atendieron y que viven en la misma casa fueron encantadoras desde el primer momento dándonos sugerencias sobre excursiones y sitios que visitar. En nuestro caso ya teníamos las excursiones contratadas, pero ellas también gestionaban excursiones por lo que se pueden contratar allí sin necesidad de hacerlo previamente. El desayuno era bastante completo, y las cenas, aunque eran de pago, también estaban bien. Es un alojamiento ideal para quienes quieran aislarse rodeados de naturaleza ya que queda un poco apartado del pueblo de Salento aunque a unos 10 minutos en coche.

  Todo fue genial, aunque si tuviéramos que sacarle un pero (menor) es que no realizaban servicio de limpieza de la habitación a diario
