  The hotel's entry floor and onsen has been refurbished, but the rest was not.

  The room was terrible, small and hot. We stayed in October (outside was 20C) and the aircon was switched to heating only by the hotel, when the temperature in the room was above 25C. Opening the window was not an option because of bugs, train passing by right under our window and the road just next to the train tracks. Needless to say it was a hot night. The rooms are dated, with visible damage and seems like no refurbishment for a few decades. The bathroom was very small, even my teenagers had difficulty to shower. Staff was kind, but NOT ONE person spoke ANY English. I understand this is Japan, but a big hotel like this you would expect to have at least one person speak a little foreign language. The onsen area was relatively new, but very small and indoor only. The water was chlorine treated so it's not a special kind of onsen from hot spring. We stayed over a holiday, so the price for this marvel was excruciatingly high.

  残念

  風呂が清潔、整頓されており、お湯も柔らかく大変良かった。 早朝チェックアウトしようとしたら、フロントが不在であった。その後6時半に行ったら板場の人？がいて親切に接していただいた。チェックイン時にこちらが聞かないのも悪いがアウトは何時になるか聞いてもらえれば、と思った。

  エレベーターを降りたところに喫煙所があり、そこから紫煙が漏れて煙の匂いの出迎えを受けた。廊下にも漂っており気分が悪くなった。 不快感満載でがっかりした。 ゴルフ場のクラブハウスなどでも出入り口に喫煙所がある施設を見かけるが残念極まりない。 肝心のお湯が良いのに残念です。

  また泊まりたいお宿

  お部屋が広く家族4人ゆっくり過ごすことが出来ました。 食事は、朝食のみ頼んだのですが、おかずの品数も多くご飯が美味しくとても満足出来ました。帰りは電車を使ったのですが磐梯熱海駅から近くとても便利でした。 また帰省する際は利用させていただきたいと思います。
