Lavish without being fussy. Lovely staff, great food, big clean rooms. A haven!
We moved here after not liking our first booking elsewhere. It was such a relief to get here! Our room was superb with what felt like a private pool outside. Very quiet, clean and fantastic views across the lake. We watched the bats fly over in the evening and had dinner, lunch and breakfasts at the hotel. Food was delicious, staff couldn't do enough and it was right next to the ruins.
Nothing.. it was all great.

Perfect stop on your cultural discovery of Sri Lanka
Beautiful boutique hotel, right on the edge of a lake. Friendly and attentive service. Special thank to Mr. Suresh. Too bad we had to respect our itinerary. We would gladly have stayed longer.

Perfect for a one-night stay while visiting the local sites.
Location was good. Rooms were very nice and comfortable.
Dining facilities were a bit strange - indoors and not the most attractive.
